2. Refund Eligibility
Your eligibility for a refund depends on the time elapsed since the purchase.
2.1 Premium Subscription
For our Premium subscription at $14.99 per month, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with our Services. To be eligible for a refund:
- You must request the refund within 7 days of your initial paid subscription charge (after the free trial period)
- You must provide feedback on why our Services did not meet your expectations
2.2 Free Trial Conversions
If you signed up for our 7-day free trial that converted to a paid subscription:
- You are eligible for a refund within 3 days of the first charge if you forgot to cancel during the trial period
- We send reminder emails before the trial converts to a paid subscription
- It is your responsibility to cancel before the trial period ends if you do not wish to continue with the paid subscription

Automatic subscription renewals after the first billing cycle are generally not refundable unless:

Cancelling your subscription prevents future charges but does not automatically qualify you for a refund of charges already processed. To request a refund, you must follow the refund process outlined in Section 3.
5. Subscription Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation is separate from requesting a refund.
5.1 How to Cancel Your Subscription
To cancel your subscription:

- Go to "Account Settings" or "Subscription Settings"
- Select "Manage Subscription"
- Click on "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
5.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel your subscription:
- You will not be charged for future billing cycles
- You will continue to have access to our Services until the end of your current billing period
- After your billing period ends, your access to premium features will expire
- Your saved resumes and data will remain accessible in accordance with our data retention policies
- You can resubscribe at any time, but any special promotional pricing may no longer be available
5.3 Cancellation Deadlines
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before renewal may not take effect until after the next billing cycle.
6. Special Circumstances
We understand that exceptional situations may arise. In the following cases, we may consider refunds outside our standard policy:
6.1 Technical Issues
If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using our Services, despite reasonable troubleshooting efforts by our support team, you may be eligible for a refund outside the standard timeframes. To qualify:
- You must report the issues to our support team within 7 days of encountering them
- You must cooperate with our support team's troubleshooting efforts
- The issues must be verified by our technical team as preventing core functionality
6.2 Incorrect or Duplicate Charges
If you were charged incorrectly or charged multiple times for the same subscription, you may request a refund within 30 days of the charge date. We will investigate and refund any erroneous charges.
6.3 Service Outages
If our Services experience significant downtime (more than 24 consecutive hours), we may offer partial refunds or subscription extensions as compensation. Eligibility will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
6.4 Prorated Refunds
For subscriptions that are past the standard refund period, we may, at our sole discretion, offer prorated refunds in exceptional circumstances such as:
